S031300100020 DETECTOR (SCIN) Counts of incident beam particles were S031300100021 continuously monitored by a 0.5 mm thick plastic S031300100022 scintillator detector which was placed at 67 cm S031300100023 upstream from the target in a vacuum chamber. S031300100024 (TELES,SCIN,SCIN) The dE - E telescope was consisted S031300100025 of three liquid scintillator detectors and three S031300100026 plastic detectors. Three BC501 liquid scintillator S031300100027 detectors (12.7 cm diameter and 12.7 cm thick) were S031300100028 kept at a distance of 1.5 m for 0 deg and 1.0 m for S031300100029 37 deg and 60 deg with respect to the beam direction S031300100030 in the laboratory frame and were used as E counter. S031300100031 The distances were defined from the target center to S031300100032 the surface of each liquid scintillation detector. S031300100033 Three EJ212 plastic detectors (12 x 12 cm square and S031300100034 0.5 cm thick) placed in front of the E counter were S031300100035 utilized as veto detectors to discriminate charged S031300100036 particles from neutrons and photons and were used as S031300100037 dE counter. S031300100038 ERR-ANALYS (ERR-T) Total uncertainty S031300100039 (ERR-S,2.,20.) The statistical errors vary from 2 S031300100040 to 5 % for the low to medium energy about 10 - 100 S031300100041 MeV region and increase to about 20% at the highest S031300100042 energies of the spectra. S031300100043 (ERR-1) The uncertainty of the detection efficiency S031300100044 is estimated to be less than 10 % for the incident S031300100045 neutron-energy range of 0.1 - 80 MeV, and slightly S031300100046 exceeds 10 % with higher energy neutrons. S031300100047 (ERR-2) A value of 15% as the uncertainty of the S031300100048 total errors in the data analysis process.
