The average S029300100020 intensities of 13B and 13O beams were approximately S029300100021 1500 and 200 pps, with purities of 53% and 2%, S029300100022 respectively. S029300100023 SAMPLE A 12.24-mg/cm2-thick self-supporting 208Pb target S029300100024 DETECTOR (TELES,SISD,SI) Two double-sided silicon strip S029300100025 detectors (DSSDs), 87 um and 65 um thick, both S029300100026 segmented into 16 horizontal and vertical strips S029300100027 (3-mm width on each side), were used to provide S029300100028 precise position and direction of the incident beam S029300100029 particles, on an event-by-event basis. S029300100030 The elastically scattered and reaction products were S029300100031 detected by an array of four silicon telescopes, S029300100032 mounted 267 mm away from the lead target.
