The thickness of the target was S008700100018 determined by an analytical balance with a precision S008700100019 of 1 ug. S008700100020 METHOD (BCINT) A removable Faraday cup at the down stream of S008700100021 the target was used to collect the beam for angle(lab) S008700100022 > 6 deg normalization. S008700100023 (EDE) A dE-E countertelescope was placed at 25 deg S008700100024 downstream of the target served as the relative S008700100025 normalization of measurements at angles of angle(lab) S008700100026 <= 6 deg to monitor the elastic scattering events. S008700100027 DETECTOR (MAGSP) The reaction products were focused and S008700100028 determined by Q3D magnetic spectrometer with the S008700100029 accepted solid angle of 0.88 mSr for a good angular S008700100030 resolution. S008700100031 (SI) Six X4 silicon detectors with each effective S008700100032 area of 75 mm x 40 mm on the focal plane. The X4 S008700100033 silicon detectors are composed of eight strips in the S008700100034 width of 5 mm with the 0.4 mm position resolution S008700100035 (FWHM) in length, and in sequence with the gaps of S008700100036 55 mm on a high-precision motorized linear stages. The S008700100037 obtained spectra of two measurements with the S008700100038 interval of 65 mm for the detector array position can S008700100039 be jointed to a continuous one with the length of S008700100040 about 800 mm, and the position distortion on the edge S008700100041 of the detectors can be eliminated effectively by the S008700100042 overlaps between two adjacent detecting areas.
