O235200100028 METHOD (EDE,EXTB) 8Li+90Zr quasi-elastic scattering was O235200100029 studied at 18.5 and 21.5 MeV (laboratory frame). The O235200100030 90Zr target was installed in a target ladder at the O235200100031 center of the scattering chamber. The same ladder also O235200100032 held a 2 mg/cm2 thick 208Pb target, which was used to O235200100033 determine the solid angle seen by the detectors. O235200100034 INC-SOURCE The 8Li beam was produced as secondary beam by means O235200100035 of the in-flight technique using the 2H(7Li,8Li)p O235200100036 reaction. The primary beam with energies of 27 and 29 O235200100037 MeV was directed onto a 5 cm long 2H gas cell, with a O235200100038 2.2 um thick Havar foil window. O235200100039 ADD-RES (TRCS) Total reaction cross section were obtained by O235200100040 optical model analysis using the BDM3Y1 interaction O235200100041 model.
