A thin 209Bi backing O233100100029 layer, 2-3 mug/cm**2, was also present in the target O233100100030 used in the second experiment. O233100100031 DETECTOR (TELES,SI,SI) Outgoing charged particles were O233100100032 detected and identified by an array of five silicon O233100100033 telescopes,each consisting of a 10 mum thick E detectorO233100100034 followed by a 200 mu-m thick E detector.The angular O233100100035 separation between two adjacent telescopes was 10 deg.
