Four detector O174000100024 locations were used- silicon double-sided strip O174000100025 detector(DSSD).The DSSD's comprised of 32 independent O174000100026 3 mm wide silicon strips with 16 strips in the O174000100027 horizontal direction and 16 strips in the vertical O174000100028 direction. The detectors were calibrated using an alphaO174000100029 source and elastically scattered C-12 nuclei from 40 O174000100030 mug/cm**2 C-12 and 150 mug/cm**2 Au-197 targets. O174000100031 The delta-E detectors were calibrated with scattered O174000100032 beam independently from the 500 mum DSSD's. The energy O174000100033 resolution of the 500 mum DSSD's was measured to be O174000100034 150 keV(FWHM) for 5.5 MeV alpha-particles and 230 keV O174000100035 (FWHM) for the 65 mum detectors.
