In the fitting procedure only O097000100033 the amplitudes of the gaussian functions were left as O097000100034 free parameters. The elastic and the various inelastic O097000100035 scatterings are not fully separated. For Ni-58+Ni-58 O097000100036 the separation is sufficient to clearly distinguish theO097000100037 elastic from the first inelastic peak and the O097000100038 gaussian-fit separation is quite efficient. It is less O097000100039 so for the Ni-58+Ni-62 case, the uncertainties in the O097000100040 amplitude of the various peaks are taken into account O097000100041 in the systematic errors and reflects themselves in theO097000100042 large errors.
