M062400100020 COMMENT Photoproton spectra of calcium have been recorded at M062400100021 bremsstrahlung end-point energies 19.5 and 20.5 MeV. M062400100022 By subtraction a proton spectrum corresponding to M062400100023 photon absorption in the range of 20.0 (0.5) MeV was M062400100024 obtained. The proton spectra show well resolved peaks M062400100025 corresponding to transitions to the ground state and M062400100026 excited states at 2.9 and 5.9 MeV. These states are M062400100027 assumed to be the single-particle hole states in 39K M062400100028 with spin values d-3/2, s-1/2 and d-5/2. These M062400100029 assignments are supported by a comparison of M062400100030 experimental branching ratios and angular M062400100031 distributions with theoretical values calculated on M062400100032 the basis of the results of Brown et.al. published in M062400100033 Nucl.Phys.,22 (1957) 359.
