M060800100003 AUTHOR (K.Shoda,S.Oikawa,T.Saito,H.Miyase,A.Suzuki) M060800100004 REFERENCE (J,NP/A,246,365,1975) M060800100005 #doi:10.1016/0375-9474(75)90652-1 M060800100006 INSTITUTE (2JPNTOH) M060800100007 FACILITY (LINAC,2JPNTOH) Tohoku University linear accelerator. M060800100012 SAMPLE Self-supported metal foil of 99.47 % enriched 208Pb M060800100013 (8.61 mg/cm* thick). M060800100014 DETECTOR (SILI) M060800100015 ANALYSIS (LEAST,INTAD) The Cook least-square method for (g,p) M060800100016 reaction differential cross section obtaining from M060800100017 (e,e'p) reaction cross sections measured using the M060800100018 direct proton detection with the following M060800100019 integration over angles. M060800100020 ERR-ANALYS (DATA-ERR) Root-mean-squared errors. M060800100021 COMMENT Photoproton energy distributions have been measured M060800100022 for the (e,e'p) reaction at a number of bombarding M060800100023 energies. The results are used to obtain (e,e'p) M060800100024 cross sections and isochromats. The (e,e'p) cross M060800100025 sections are analyzed to get the (g,p) cross M060800100026 sections. The results and (g,p) cross sections show M060800100027 a strong resonance around 25.0 MeV, whose energy and M060800100028 integrated cross section agree well with theory for M060800100029 iar. Proton spectra emitted through the IAR are M060800100030 extracted from the photoproton spectra and also from M060800100031 the isochromats. Strong proton groups are found at M060800100032 around 15.3 and 11 MeV corresponding to the h11/2 M060800100033 proton hole state at 1.3 MeV and also neutron M060800100034 particle-hole states around 6 MeV in the residual M060800100035 nucleus. The result is in a good agreement with M060800100036 estimates obtained from proton scattering on 208Pb, M060800100037 showing the configuration of the iar states.
