M060600100017 DETECTOR (SILI) M060600100018 ANALYSIS (LEAST,INTAD) The least-square method for (g,p) M060600100019 reaction differential cross section obtaining from M060600100020 (e,e'p) reaction cross sections measured using the M060600100021 direct proton detection with the following M060600100022 integration over angles. M060600100023 ERR-ANALYS (DATA-ERR) Root-mean-squared errors. M060600100024 COMMENT The reaction 142Nd(e,e'p)141Pr has been used to study M060600100025 the T> giant resonance in 142Nd. Cross sections for M060600100026 the 142Nd(g,p)141Pr and 142Nd(g,p0+p1)141Pr M060600100027 reactions were measured for excitation energies from M060600100028 15.9 to 26.0 MeV. These cross sections are compared M060600100029 with the previous 141Pr(p,g-0)142Nd data. The M060600100030 angular distributions for the larger resonances at M060600100031 17.3, 19.7, and 22.9 MeV were measured. Analysis M060600100032 indicates that 22.9 MeV state has about a 13 % E2 M060600100033 component. The decay proton spectra from the 19.7 M060600100034 and 22.9 MeV resonances were analyzed with a M060600100035 schematic shell model and indicates that the core M060600100036 excitation process is dominant in these isobaric M060600100037 analog resonances. The measured (g,p) cross section M060600100038 together with the (g,n) cross section is found to be M060600100039 fairly consistent with the predictions of isospin M060600100040 splitting theory.
