           Deutrons/tritons were analyzed in the focal plane of   M059100100014 
            the spectrometer using a ladder counter consisting    M059100100015 
            of four 90 mm x 220 mm x 2 mm plastic scintillators   M059100100016 
            in coincidence with a large 460 mm x 240 mm x 5 mm    M059100100017 
            plastic detector.                                     M059100100018 
           Protons were detected using telescope consisted of     M059100100019 
            two 200 mm x 220 mm x 5 mm plastic scintillators.     M059100100020 
ANALYSIS   To extract the good events, a st of conditions was     M059100100021 
            imposed on the spectra: broad cuts on the             M059100100022 
            spectrometer pulse-height histogram define the        M059100100023 
            selected kind of particle (deuteron or triton); then  M059100100024 
            the time interval histograms for true and random      M059100100025 
            coincidences associated with these selected events    M059100100026 
            were established. The number of good events was       M059100100027 
            defined as the number of events in the peak of the    M059100100028 
            true coincidence plot, corrected by the average       M059100100029 
            number of random coincidences read in the delayed     M059100100030 
            coincidence plot.                                     M059100100031 
CORRECTION The following effects were considered:                 M059100100032 
            - proton absorption in the copper absorber situated   M059100100033 
              in front of telescope; this correction never        M059100100034 
              exceeded 15 %;                                      M059100100035 
            - counting losses due to the high counting rate in    M059100100036 
              the telescope scintillators: they were estimated    M059100100037 
              from the single rates for each run and corrections  M059100100038 
              were made ranging from 2 - 8 %;                     M059100100039 
            - events originating in the target walls: the         M059100100040 
              correction amounted to 1.5 % in the worst case.     M059100100041 
ERR-ANALYS (ERR-S) Only statistical uncertainties are given.      M059100100042 
COMMENT    Differential cross sections for the reactions          M059100100043 
            3He(g,p)d and 4He(g,p)t were measured at proton c.m.  M059100100044 
            angles of 60 and 90 degree for proton energies        M059100100045 
            ranging from 150 - 450 MeV with an average resolution M059100100046 
            of 8 MeV. Bremsstrahlung was used as a photon source; M059100100047 
            deutrons/tritons were analyzed in a magnetic          M059100100048 
            spectrometer whereas coincident protons were detected M059100100049 
            in a plastic scintillator telescope. The experimental M059100100050 
            method includes a calibration by means of 1H(g,pi)p   M059100100051 
            differential cross section measurement at 90 degree   M059100100052 
            c.m. in the same photon energy range. the 3H and 4He  M059100100053 
            two-body photodisintegration differential cross       M059100100054 
            sections show a monotonically decreasing variation    M059100100055 
            with photon energy. in addition, partial data on the  M059100100056 
            differential cross section of the reaction            M059100100057 
            4He(g,n)3He at 90 and 120 degree neutron c.m. angle   M059100100058
