M055500100019 ERR-ANALYS (DATA-ERR) Statistical errors are given. M055500100020 Systematic errors about 6.5 % were obtained by adding M055500100021 quadrature the systematic uncertainties from the M055500100022 following sources: M055500100023 - photon flax 3.4 %; M055500100024 - detector solid angle 5.0 %; M055500100025 - target thickness 2.0 %; M055500100026 - inelastic proton reactions in detector 1.0 %; M055500100027 - detector edge effects 1.0 5; M055500100028 - multiple electron hits < 1.0 %. M055500100029 COMMENT The 4He(g,p)3H reaction cross section has been M055500100030 measured with tagged photons of energy 81 - 158 MeV. M055500100031 Protons were detected over the angular range 55 - M055500100032 125 degree. The scaling of the data as a function of M055500100033 momentum mismatch has been examined for two reaction M055500100034 models, the modified quasideuteron mechanism and M055500100035 quasifree knockout. Both models show clear scaling M055500100036 behavior but comparison of the predicted and M055500100037 measured scaling function shapes favours the modified M055500100038 quasideuteron mechanism at momenta up to about 500 M055500100039 MeV/c.
