Neutron M050100100028 energy determination was made by time of flight, M050100100029 giving a resolution of about 2 MeV which enabled the M050100100030 ground-state excitation in 15O to be resolved from M050100100031 states at 5.2 and 6.2 MeV. Differential cross M050100100032 sections were measured in the angular range 30 - 110 M050100100033 deg and are compared with the predictions of M050100100034 microscopic, self-consistent Hartree-Fock, random M050100100035 phase approximation model of (g,n) reactions. The M050100100036 implications for the theoretical description are M050100100037 discussed, notably the dependence of the (g,n) cross M050100100038 section on meson exchange currents and final-state M050100100039 rescattering.
