The experiment has been M040700100029 performed at six different energies in the range 46 M040700100030 - 72 MeV by detecting the fission fragments either M040700100031 in uranium-loaded nuclear-track emulsion plates or M040700100032 in uranium-mica sandwiches. During the experiment M040700100033 the main features of ladon beam were a satisfactory M040700100034 energy resolution (up to about 10% fwhm, at maximum M040700100035 energy), an extremely low bremsstrahlung background M040700100036 (about 5% integrated over the whole spectrum above 2 M040700100037 MeV), an intensity of about 10**5 photons/s, and an M040700100038 almost complete linear polarization.
