M039700100022 ANALYSIS (PLA) The Penfold - Leiss unfolding method with M039700100023 the different bins was used for obtaining cross M039700100024 section data from experimental yield curve. M039700100025 ERR-ANALYS (DATA-ERR) Mean root-square errors are given. M039700100026 STATUS (CURVE) The data have been digitized in the CDFE. M039700100027 COMMENT By means of direct registration the curves of the M039700100028 photoneutron yields were measured from the threshold M039700100029 of the reaction (gamma,n) up to 30 MeV for Si-28, S-32M039700100030 and Ca-40. The (gamma,n) reaction cross sections M039700100031 obtained are compared with the calculations performed M039700100032 within the framework of the particle-hole approach. M039700100033 It is shown that for the Si-28 and S-32 the M039700100034 configurational splitting of the giant resonance is M039700100035 main effect that determines the gross structure of M039700100036 (gamma,n) reaction cross section. M039700100037 Absolute cross section data were obtained using the M039700100038 comparison procedure for thin targets (2 g/cm-2) M039700100039 of element studied and the data for copper target M039700100040 from the measurement of H.H.Thies et. al.
