M037600100017 ANALYSIS Photoproton energy spectra were measured and M037600100018 converted to the functions of residual excitation M037600100019 energy E-exc of final nucleus 11B. In order to M037600100020 estimate the cross section leading to the final M037600100021 nucleus states gaussian fitting procedure was used M037600100022 for the peaks which are evident in the photoproton M037600100023 spectra and corresponding to population of M037600100024 low-lying states of 11B at excitation energies near M037600100025 E-exc = 0, 7, and 13 MeV. The gaussian centroids M037600100026 were restricted to the energy ranges E-exc = (0 - M037600100027 1.5 MeV), (6.5 - 8.0) MeV, and (12.0 - 13.5) MeV. M037600100028 No attempt was made to determine the cross section M037600100029 for the higher regions of E-exc, but further M037600100030 gaussians were fitted at E-exc = 17 - 18, 21 - 23 M037600100031 MeV, together with a broader gaussian above E-exc = M037600100032 45 MeV, and quasideutron continuum, in order to M037600100033 provide a good overall fit to photoproton spectra. M037600100034 ERR-ANALYS (DATA-ERR) Mean-root-square uncertainties presented. M037600100035 (ERR-1) Systematic uncertainties are estimated to be M037600100036 10%. M037600100037 COMMENT The 12C(g,p)11B differential cross section has been M037600100038 measured over proton angles ranging from 58 to 128 M037600100039 degrees, using tagged photons of energy 80 - 157 M037600100040 MeV, for low-lying regions of residual excitation M037600100041 energy in 11B. The data have been compared with four M037600100042 different types of calculation. It is shown that M037600100043 scaling of the cross section with momentum mismatch M037600100044 occurs for both ground-state and excited state data.
