L018300100020 DETECTOR (HPGE) At ELBE four 100% high-purity Germanium (HPGe) L018300100021 detectors were used. Two were positioned at 90deg and L018300100022 two at 127deg relative to the beam axis. Each L018300100023 detector was surrounded by an escape suppression L018300100024 shield of bismuth germanate (BGO) which works as a L018300100025 veto detector, increasing the ratio of full energy L018300100026 events relative to all events. Lead collimators, each L018300100027 10-cm thick, were placed in front of the detectors. L018300100028 (HPGE) At HIgS four 60% HPGe detectors were placed L018300100029 around the target position at a polar angle of 90deg.
