The two L018100100024 chambers were connected through a 9.1-cm-long L018100100025 transfer tube which was 7.8 mm in diameter. The L018100100026 filling density of 3He was 6.48 +- 0.1 amg. In L018100100027 addition to the 3He gas, about 0.1 amg of N2 gas was L018100100028 in the target as a buffer gas. L018100100029 DETECTOR (SCIN) Sixteen liquid BC-501A scintillation detectors L018100100030 at 30,45,75,90,105,135,150 and 165 degrees w.r.t the L018100100031 beam direction on both sides are arranged at 1 m L018100100032 distance from the centre of the target, and two L018100100033 liquid BC-501 scintillation detectors at 90 degrees L018100100034 w.r.t the beam direction on both sides of the target L018100100035 sample D20 for photon flux monitoring at the end of L018100100036 the beam line.
