The stack was D416800100016 irradiated in a Faraday-cup type target holder, D416800100017 equipped with a long collimator and electron supressor D416800100018 for precise definition of bombarding charge. D416800100019 The count rate was kept low so that corrections D416800100020 for pile up effects and dead time could be implemented D416800100021 through the acquisition and analyzing software. D416800100022 The charge on target was first derived from the D416800100023 Faraday-cup measurement. D416800100024 Data were collected from 10 independent experiments to D416800100025 chek the shape of the excitation curve in the low D416800100026 energy region, below 10 MeV, by using the high energy D416800100027 part, above 10 MeV, as monitor reaction of the same D416800100028 natTi(d,x)48V reaction. The shape provided by the 10 D416800100029 independent experiments perfectly agreed the shape of D416800100030 the measured curve.
