C307500100033 SAMPLE Scattering of Nuclei in Inverse Kinematics (SONIK) C307500100034 scattering chamber: a windowless, extended gas target. C307500100035 METHOD The 4He(3He,3He) 4He elastic scattering was measured C307500100036 at 9 energies. Since the projectile and the target C307500100037 mass are close, authors observed both the recoils and C307500100038 ejectiles from the elastic scattering in the C307500100039 detectors. The 3He and 4He peaks are well resolved at C307500100040 high incident beam energies. The individual peak C307500100041 yields from the raw spectrum were extracted after C307500100042 background subtraction.
