The C304000100037 detector was installed inside the SOLARIS solenoidal C304000100038 spectrometer which provides a magnetic field of 3.0 T. C304000100039 SAMPLE Pure deuterium gas, which has an areal density of C304000100040 10**20 1/cm2 and equivalent to a 35-mg/cm2 C304000100041 conventional solid (CD2)n target. C304000100042 METHOD Kinematics of deuterons scattered off 10Be were C304000100043 inferred from the point cloud using an algorithm C304000100044 based on a linear quadratic estimator (Kalman filter), C304000100045 achieving an average efficiency of approximately C304000100046 70% in the 7-10 MeV excitation energy range. Protons, C304000100047 deuterons, and tritons are clearly isolated based on C304000100048 their Bro values versus their energy losses, where C304000100049 deuterons from the elastic and inelastic scattering C304000100050 reactions were selected. C304000100051 ANALYSIS The measured angular distributions were analyzed C304000100052 within the coupled channel (CC) formalism using the C304000100053 code FRESCO. C304000100054 ERR-ANALYS (ERR-T) The uncertainties of the absolute cross C304000100055 sections are dominated by the systematic C304000100056 uncertainties resulting from the beam intensity and C304000100057 the acceptance of the detector. The former should be C304000100058 within 10% owing to the good efficiency of the C304000100059 ionization chamber. The latter was determined to be C304000100060 less than 5% by a simulation.
