The bulk of the C286000100012 measurements, particularly those at higher energies C286000100013 up to 21 MeV, were made in an 11-in. scattering C286000100014 chamber with deuterons accelerated in the Argonne C286000100015 60-in. cyclotron. In the cyclotron, deuterons of C286000100016 21-MeV energy were degraded down to 8 MeV by means of C286000100017 a foil-degrading system, which also permitted C286000100018 determination of deuteron energies by range C286000100019 measurements. C286000100020 ERR-ANALYS (ERR-S) The standard deviation of counting C286000100021 statistics. The statistical error is shown for the C286000100022 cross sections only when the error exceeds the C286000100023 geometric size of the plotted point.
