Multi-Sampling Ionization C276800100013 Chamber (MUSIC) detector was filled with a gas C276800100014 mixture of 95% He and 5% Kr. The purpose of the Kr C276800100015 was to increase the stopping power of the gas C276800100016 mixture. Two gas pressures were used. First at 498.1 C276800100017 MeV 100Mo beam and a calibrated gas pressure of 408 C276800100018 Torr, followed by a setting with a 474.8 MeV 100Mo C276800100019 beam and a calibrated gas pressure of 459 Torr. C276800100020 DETECTOR (IOCH) MUlti-Sampling Ionization Chamber (MUSIC) was C276800100021 used to detect reaction products and beam C276800100022 particles.The segmented anode allows to measure C276800100023 position and energy loss of particles along their C276800100024 track, which allow discrimination between beam C276800100025 particles and reaction products.
