C268400100034 METHOD Inverse kinematics was used C268400100035 INC-SOURCE The 8He nuclei were produced from the spallation of a C268400100036 SiC target with a 500 MeV proton beam. The 8He nuclei C268400100037 were re-accelerated to an energy of 8.25AMeV by the C268400100038 superconducting linear accelerator and transported to C268400100039 the ISAC-II experimental hall where the IRIS facility C268400100040 is located.
