The 3281200100013 yield was around 3 to 4E10 n/s. A solid tritium - 3281200100014 titanium (T-Ti) target, with a thickness of 3281200100015 approximately 2.4 mg/cm2, was adopted. 3281200100016 SAMPLE Natural Mo foil (purity 99.99%, thickness 0.5 mm) 3281200100017 circular samples were prepared (diameter 20 mm), 3281200100018 and sandwiched by two layers of Nb foil 3281200100019 (thickness 0.5 mm, purity 99.99%) or Al foil 3281200100020 (thickness 0.3 mm, purity 99.999%) as neutron flux 3281200100021 monitors with the same diameter as the circular Mo 3281200100022 foil. Cd foil (thickness 1 mm, purity 99.95%) was used 3281200100023 for wrapping to decrease the impacts of the 3281200100024 98Mo(n,g)99Mo and 92Mo(n,g)93mMo reactions induced by 3281200100025 thermal neutrons on the 100Mo(n,2n)99Mo and 3281200100026 94Mo(n,2n)93mMo reactions. 3281200100027 METHOD (ACTIV) The samples were cooled for 5 to 1800 min 3281200100028 after 2 h irradiation. All samples were put at 0, 90, 3281200100029 and 135 deg compared with the deuteron beam 3281200100030 direction. All samples were approximately 5 cm away 3281200100031 from the T-Ti target center.
