Each was sandwiched between two 3279700100019 99.99% pure circular niobium foils with a diameter of 3279700100020 20mm and 1mm thickness, and then wrapped in 99.95% 3279700100021 pure cadmium foil with 1mm thickness. Groups of 3279700100022 samples were placed at 45 and 135 deg with respect to 3279700100023 the deuteron beam direction.
