Two samples were 3167000100010 prepared. Sphere #1 contained 75.1 mg methane and 3167000100011 352.41 mg 22Ne, while sphere #2 was filled with 19.7 3167000100012 mg methane and 129.57 mg 22Ne. The masses of the 3167000100013 2-cm- diameter stainless steel containers were about 3167000100014 8600 mg. An additional larger aluminum sphere 80 mm 3167000100015 in diameter with Ne was used for measuring the 22Ne 3167000100016 capture gamma-rays by means of the invisible 3167000100017 container concept. 3167000100018 INC-SOURCE cold neutron beam with an approximately Maxwellian 3167000100019 energy distribution of 100 K. In the 80 mm-sphere 3167000100020 experiment, the flux was 3xl0**7 n/s/cm2, while for 3167000100021 the 2 cm containers (sphere #1 and #2) it was 3167000100022 7xl0**7 n/s/cm2 at the sample position. 3167000100023 DETECTOR (HPGE) The de-exciting gamma-rays were measured with 3167000100024 a BGO shielded HPGe detector and the spectra were 3167000100025 collected in a 16K MCA system. 3167000100026 METHOD (GSPEC) 3167000100027 ANALYSIS The cross section was determined by means of the 3167000100028 comparator method, and an improved decay-scheme 3167000100029 obtained in the work. The thermal equivalent cross 3167000100030 section value is based on the assumption that both of 3167000100031 the comparator (hydrogen) and 22Ne have 1/v cross 3167000100032 sections for the whole beam energy range. 3167000100033 STATUS (TABLE) Table 1 and data from the text. 3167000100034 (APRVD) Entry approved by Dr.T.Belgya 3167000100035 HISTORY (20090514C) SD 3167000100036 (20100303A) SD: Year of publ. corrected (2008 -> 2009) 3167000100037 (20131222U) VS.
