The fission chamber 1485700100035 consisted of a 235U foil and a gaseous ionization 1485700100036 chamber. 1485700100037 SAMPLE The beam was collimated to a 3-mm diameter at the 1485700100038 entrance into the station, slightly smaller than the 1485700100039 4x4 mm2 active area of the diamonds, and the diamonds 1485700100040 were placed near the entrance collimator. Diamonds 1485700100041 are about 0.5 mm thick. 1485700100042 METHOD (TOF) Two Cividec B8 diamond detectors were placed in 1485700100043 the 90-m station on the 15-deg flight path (4FP15L). 1485700100044 ERR-ANALYS (ERR-T) The total uncertainty, which includes both 1485700100045 statistical and systematic uncertainties. These 1485700100046 uncertainties were summed in quadrature to find the 1485700100047 total uncertainty for each measured cross section. 1485700100048 (ERR-S) Statistical uncertainties: includes 1485700100049 contributions from the peak, from the number of 1485700100050 (n,alpha) counts at 14.1 MeV, and from the 1485700100051 background counts added in quadratures. 1485700100052 (ERR-1) The charged particle detection efficiency 1485700100053 correction uncertainty. 1485700100054 (ERR-2) The relative flux distribution uncertainty. 1485700100055 (ERR-3) The fit/integration uncertainties. 1485700100056 (ERR-4) The incident neutron energy reconstruction 1485700100057 uncertainty. 1485700100058 (ERR-5) The normalization uncertainty based on the 1485700100059 weighted average uncertainty of previous data. 1485700100060 CORRECTION Charged-particle efficiency correction: Due to the 1485700100061 small thickness of the diamond detectors (0.5 mm), 1485700100062 there exists a significant possibility of incomplete 1485700100063 energy deposition by the light ions created in the 1485700100064 reaction channels of interest.
