The carbon foil was previously glued to 1471500100014 an aluminum frame 1471500100015 DETECTOR (SI) Twin arrays of nine 1 cm2 Si PIN diodes arranged 1471500100016 in a 3 x 3 square were located to the downstream left 1471500100017 and upstream right of the neutron beam, The two 1471500100018 arrays were 180 deg apart in the laboratory frame. 1471500100019 METHOD (TOF) Incident neutron energy was measured by time of 1471500100020 flight. The proton beam was structured in the form of 1471500100021 625 mu-s macropulses with a repetition rate of 1471500100022 100-120 Hz. Each macropulse was composed of 0.25 ns 1471500100023 wide micropulses separated by 1800 ns. The distance 1471500100024 from spallation source to 239Pu target was 1471500100025 13.85+-0.01 m. 1471500100026 INC-SOURCE (SPALL) Neutrons with white spectrum were produced by 1471500100027
