On each solar 1458800100015 cell a 1 mg/cm2 layer of 238U was deposited. A very 1458800100016 thin solar cels were used to reduce x-ray attenuation. 1458800100017 DETECTOR (HPGE) HPGe array GEANIE, consisting of 26 high 1458800100018 resolution HPGe detectors. 11 detectors were of LEPS 1458800100019 type, dedicated to low energy photon spectroscopy in 1458800100020 the range 10 to 300 keV. 1458800100021 METHOD (COINC) For the x-ray measurements, x-rays were 1458800100022 detected in coincidence with fission fragments using 1458800100023 active uranium target. 1458800100024 (TOF) The energies of the incident neutrons are 1458800100025 determined by the time-of- flight between the 1458800100026 spallation target and GEANIE. 1458800100027 INC-SOURCE (SPALL) Neutrons were produced by spallation reaction 1458800100028 of 800 MeV protons impinging on W target. GEANIE 1458800100029 array was located 20 m from WNR spallation target at 1458800100030 the end of collimated flight path 1458800100031 ANALYSIS Three different sets of data were used to identify 1458800100032 the fission fragment: characteristic 1458800100033 single-gamma-rays, gamma-gamma coincidences and 1458800100034 fission-gamma coincidences.
