The energy calibration 1454500100037 of the telescopes was performed with 224Ra and 228Th 1454500100038 radioactive sources. This calibration automatically 1454500100039 takes the presence of the Mylar foil into account. A 1454500100040 software correction was applied for the energy loss 1454500100041 in the Au foil. 1454500100042 SAMPLE The 252Cf source with a strength of the order of 30 1454500100043 mu-Ci was sandwiched between two Au foils, each 19 1454500100044 mg/cm2 in thickness.
