The 1451500100014 xenon volume was 7.2 cm long and 3.4 cm diameter. 1451500100015 The vessel was pressurized to near 2700 torr with 1451500100016 pressure monitored in real time using a capacitance 1451500100017 manometer. 1451500100018 DETECTOR (HPGE) Germanium Array for Neutron Induced 1451500100019 Excitations (GEANIE) spectrometer was used to measure 1451500100020 neutron induced gamma rays. Array consists of 20 1451500100021 Compton-suppressed high-purity germanium detectors. 1451500100022 METHOD (TOF) Neutron energy is determined via time of 1451500100023 flight. The proton beam is delivered in short pulses 1451500100024 spaced 1.8 mu-s apart (micropulses) , in groups 1451500100025 lasting for 625 mu-s (macropulses) . There are 100 1451500100026 macropulses per second. Neutron flight path 1451500100027 was 20.34m. 1451500100028 MONITOR (26-FE-56(N,INL)26-FE-56,PAR,SIG,G) 1451500100029 Reference cross section for production of the 847 keV 1451500100030 gamma ray in 56Fe at 6.2 MeV neutron energy. 1451500100031 MONIT-REF (23134001,R.Beyer+,J,NP/A,927,41,2014) 1451500100032 INC-SOURCE (SPALL) Neutrons were produced by spallation using 1451500100033 pulsed 800 MeV
